Barcelona and the Camí de Ronda in Cataluna

Barcelona is one of my favorite cities. I've been there 15 times. HP has a site in San Cugat (just outside Barcelona), and it was a common destination during my 20 years at HP. I rarely had a chance to spend much time getting to know the city while I was on business trips. But I had a collection of great memories from the bits and pieces of those trips that made me want to go back again.

Walking is one of my passions. After our Camino Portugués 2015 trip, my mind has been filled with ideas for more through-walks. When a musician friend mentioned his experience with GR routes during a show we were doing, I started thinking about the next trip. After a short search, I learned that one of those routes (GR-92) was also a well-known historic route near Barcelona known as the Camí de Ronda in Catalan or the Camino de Ronda in Castilian. It's also called the Costa Brava Way.

I had always wanted to take Martha to Barcelona. Allie was going to be available to walk with me. The plan came together, and we had an awesome time in Barcelona and walking the Camí de Ronda in Cataluna, Spain. This is our story.
